Thanks! "How sharper than a serpent's tooth to have an ungrateful child..." We read Lear in high school. The jocks got a big kick out of Goneril, or Gohnerreah (sp) as they liked to call her.
BTW, I'm reading The Amber Spyglass now. I'm at the part where Mary is with the mulefa's and she has just made the Amber Spyglass. I get the feeling I won't know which side to root for until the last page. It's a fabulous and fitting close to this series!
