the only "original" movie I've seen in a long long time is shrek. don't get after Disney they're not the only ones doing it. However, while I think Iron Giant is the closest, I thnk that there are lovely fresh twists and that this movie is well enough done that I can more than forgive Disney for the so-called "rip off". OH, and if I'm way off the mark please understand I have not seen this movie in English, my native language, but in Spanish, a language in which I am not fluent. So I understood MOST of the conversation and still wonder if maybe the movie looked better to me than it would in English.
