I know Clarence Thomas is a conservative. I've always known it. I never really thought that he was a libertarian.
But sometimes, when I heard him giving speeches, he TALKED as if he were a libetarian. He talks about how the government is too big, and that people shouldn't look to the government to solve their problems. But, I guess that he meant those things only in terms of ECONOMIC issues. Obviously, when it comes to personal issues, such as standing on the sidewalk, he is definitely NOT a libertarian.
