Next time, buy SR-71 a "chimney" available usually wherever they sell charcoal and use newspaper to get that charcoal started. You won't miss the crude oil taste left when you uses kerosene or a charcoal lighter.
Kerosene is not that explosive at room temperature. No more so than charcoal lighter.
