I really enjoyed this movie. I completely disagree with Holly about the acting being amateurish I thought it was refreshingly honest and un-stereotyped. The different plots were weaved together really well which was so nice to see in an age where in most films it seems like the editing guys cut out pieces completely at random and then threw the rest together for us to figure out. I also thought this was one of the most romantic movies I had ever seen probably because for once it wasn't way over the top. I hope John Sayles wins an Oscar for best direction but seeing as trash is in the majority in the film industry and quality in the minority trash will probably win out. Otherwise how else can they justify the millions they spend on the crap.

For the record if Jerry McGuire even gets nominated I refuse point blank to watch the Oscars ceremony.
