Sheesh, you are comparing the (mild, accidental) violence in America's Funniest Videos to that of the gore depicted in Lynch films? What school are you going to? Are you passing your classes? The only EXTREMEviolence that is LACKING from America's Funniest Videos is a 15 ton weight smashing down on the banal host, Bob Saget. I would tape that and watch it over and over and over.... no.. no... better yet have Davis Lynch create some 3 hour drivel symbolizing the violent crushing of Bob Saget.
Art is for the artist. Movies can be art. But I like to think that good movie making is a CRAFT - making a piece that is both beautiful and functional.
