i KNEW it!
So she's not really one of them because she still (evidently) wants off the island.
But she really is one of them because she is willing to take orders from Ben and deceive the Losties in order to. . . get off the island? There must be some other method, else, why would she cooperate with Ben any longer?
So what does Ben hope to accomplish/discover with this infiltration (which clearly was at least a contingency plan long ago, what with Claire's implant and all)?
What, if not a bon voyage, does Juliette get out of this?
Again with the lists. I feel like they must have everything to do with everything.
If they can cure Juliette's sister back in the real world, why can't they cure Ben (is it a cancerous tumor?)? Is there some other kind that me the non-medical expert doesn't know about?
Was Ben lying when he said he was born on the island, or was he the only/last child to have been born there before Aaron? Didn't Russo claim Alex was born a few days after their ship wrecked on the island? How did she manage not to die?
Why do they take the children? Future procreators?
Thank goodness for Sayid. Only hope he gets to her before the week is out, and that when/if the Losties discover her presence was planned and for some purpose, the backlash against Jack isn't too harsh. Didn't I say last week he's an easy mark? For a blonde woman, that is.
Jury's still out on Juliette. At the very best, she's willing to fuck people over to get what she wants. AT the worst, she has lied about everything and for some reason wants to off Ben and - I don't know - take over, or something.
Does this mean Sun is going to die? That would be my fondest wish for Lost.
Could Desmond conceivably see what Juliette is up to ahead of time? He saw Locke's speech ahead of time, and that didn't have anything to do with Cahrlie's maybe-unavoidable demise.
Good ep, another step in the right direction, but as susual - answers beget questions with this show!
