Just curious, is this movie being received positively in the "heartland" of the USA? I find that I couldn't relate to the characters. They were so "out there." The acting was okay, but the storyline was uninteresting. I really didn't care about any of the characters. Perhaps I was supposed to feel sympathetic toward the "younger" characters because of their less than ideal childhoods, but living a shitty life because you had a shitty childhood is so old.
