Yes, Matt. Thorough and thoughtful analysis.

The sun shining and the rain falling on the just and the unjust.
In Exodus the frogs were one of the plagues, but the ultimate purpose was for deliverance. Notice how many in the film were saved in some way or another by them.
One small side lesson though: If you are ever caught in a frog downpour, don't drive fast. Duh.
