1. The film is way tooooo long. 2. You can't make another Short Cuts just by puting Julian Moore in a film and having lots of characters whose lives are entwining. Quite artificially, I must add. 3. The characters are not at all likeable. Claudia especially. What's with the hysteria? 4. There is too much cancer. 5. The frogs scene is not funny nor clever. I think it was meant to replace the earthquake scene from Short Cuts, but it was too lame. 6. The singing along part - original, I admit. 7. But not all that is original is necessarily good! Frogs included. 8. This movie tries too hard. Boogie Nights was also trying too hard. Let it flow, man. 9. Tom Cruise is great there. 10. Thank you for your time. I really enjoyed finding that there are some sain people left who could see through this film.
