04/27/03: Yes, Junky

...as Morrison stated, Rock is supposedly heading off to make another movie.. I figure Goldielocks wins here.. Rock has served well as a tool to put over the incoming wrestlers.. I don't know how much longer this'll last, though.. You gotta figure that, at some point, the fans will start to realize what's really going on....

Course, the person i'm sure everyone wants to see 'next' is....TRIPLE H... (really, though..Apparently Goldberg hates H's guts.. There could be some legit heat between the two, ala Michaels-Bret Hart)

As far as Jeff Hardy goes: I agree, Jeff from even a year ago was a helluvan entertaining performer..

Unfortunately, i REALLY feel as if his high-risk matches took a toll on his body..I didn't see a whole lot of him in the twilight hours, but whenever i DID see him, he looked like a 1/4 of the wrestler he once was.. Almost looked like he was in pain for the entirety of his matches, and the jokes about how he was a walking "blown-spot" were unfortunately quite true..I'll miss Jeff, despite that weird-ass bodypaint thing..The only wrestling shirt that i own is a Hardy Boyz "No Fear" t-shirt..... (mostly because, when i went to see RAW live, it was the week before Angle first won the title, and all of Kurt's shirts were sold out)

As far as the PPV goes: It sure looks weak on paper.. In my experience, though, the weakest ppvs are usually the ones that come out being the most surprisingly good.. Hopin' to check it out, though i do have an exam tomorrow morning that i really need to study for...

Pah, wrestling ppvs only come once a month, though...
