..missed the Guerreros-Team Angle match and most of the O'Haire-Rikishi match..
Didn't pay much attention to the women's match..
Thought the RVD Kane-Dudleyz match was alright (though i do hold an extreme prejudice against Buh-Buh.. I'm just really sick of that guy, for some reason.. The match may have been better then okay, but i tend to get bored when Buh-Buh's around)
RVD and Kane won
Kinda liked the Rey-Show match.. Show won.. In a cool looking (though ouch inducing)spot, Show came out after Mysterio had been placed on a spinal board, picked up the spinal board, and swung it like a baseball bat (with Rey still on it!) into the Ring post.. Rey looked to fall directly on his head..
The Cena-Lesnar match was interesting.. Seemed like Lesnar may have been knocked silly or something... Seemed like Cena was having a hard time reading what Brock was going to do... At one point, after Brock looked like he was going to slam Cena out of the ring, and then turned around and slammed him inside the ring, my friend and i can SWEAR we saw Cena say "what the fuck was THAT?"..Lot of awkward looking stuff..It was an honest effort, but i'm not sure what the WWE was thinking booking these two on their own, in hindsight.. At least you could have had Benoit get involved, or something..Expecting Brock to carry Cena in his first major PPV event is a little much...
Lesnar won.
The Triple H-Flair-Jericho beat Michaels-Booker-Nash..
Match had it's ups and downs.. Ups were when Michaels, Flair and Jericho were in the ring.. Downs were everywhere else.. Course you can guess the outcome...It's amazing how, out of all these guys, Flair is STILL the most popular...WOOO!
Goldberg-Rock was about the worst thing it could have been: really dull. I think there were about a total of 5 moves actually performed in the match, and 3 of them were spears! Lots of Rock running around the outside of the ring while Goldberg stood on the inside.. Lots of Rock struggling to get up (and taking years to do so!) while Goldberg kneeled in the corner, preparing to spear...again...
Extra ouch-inducing spot: When Torrie and Stacey were fighting backstage, and Torrie irish-whipped Stacey into a file cabinet of some sort.. It did NOT look like Stacey was expecting that box full of stuff to come down on her head.. That REALLY looked like it hurt..
Come here, Miss Hancock..Drew will make it all better.......
