A high-school boy (Patrick Fugit), who writes reviews for an underground rap magazine, is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone about an up-and-coming white rapper B-Rad (Jamie Kennedy) and accompany him on B-Rad's concert tour. This story is loosely based on Cameron Crowe's homosexual fixation with Vanilla Ice.
