ZERO'S DATAFILE, X-DELTA0101A:
The shadow of a smile seemed to cross Lady Eboshi's face as she viewed my sib's discomfort.
"This One believed that a demonstration of her skills would speak louder than any words that she could say. This One serves Master timleary in a variety of positions."
I noticed that my sib's face twitched, as if he were biting his tongue.
"Whull, Lady-Lass (*cough*), if ye kin do tha' tae ME, colour me impressed..."
"That's what you said the first time that you met This One, My Lord Wulfgar. Is the tundra still cold at night, with none to warm your sleeping furs?"
"I dinnae ken yer meanin', Lass; I-"
"It will come to you in time, My Lord...where's your wolf-skin? " Lady Eboshi said in a friendly-mocking way.
My sib was well and truly puzzled by this last;
"I've nae had me wolf-skin since...Japan. The last scientific conference that I escorted Dr.Dan to...where I lost it in a bet-"
He paused, a crimson stain appearing upon his face, "with a lovely lass-"
Ivan Leopold broke in: "I am certain that this is all very interesting, but we have pressing matters to discuss. Comrade Wulfgar, my Princess informs me that you have theory about the demise of Namagomi, and proof that supports said theory."
She HAD been talking to Bernstein; my sib glared at the ex-KGB hitman, but when he spoke, it was in a restrained manner.
"Aye, tha's the humour of it; Ms. Phan and her partner, Mr. Wood, are investigating a few angles regarding British Intelligence's and ScotIntel's involvement in the matter. SOMEONE sent the SAS in to murder the lass...and we've found evidence showing that the one OR ones responsible are holding our two missing sibs, somewhere in the Canadian Maritimes."
"And this would be...?" questioned Ivan.
"This One, also, is interested in viewing Lord Wulfgar's...information" chimed in Lady Eboshi.
Wulfgar regarded Ivan warily; there had once been a bond developing between them, but something had happened, in the interim.
When he again spoke, his voice was a whole octave deeper than normal; thickly, and slowly, he spoke: "There is much that I would say; and little enough timeto say it in. So hark at my words, and ye shall see..."
