It seems that too many people expect a blow out whenever they go the the movies. The minutue and care that is needed for tales of local color do not seem to be a part of todays popular mentality. It is a detriment to each of us that we are no longer affected by the charaters of the movies. Manny & Lo had the ability to do so, if only they were allowed to. But rather than being touched by the stength and fortitude these two deserted girls displayed in face of desertion, we decide to reject the that simple power, in seach of special effects and ray guns. This was a movie about strong girls who were turning into strongerwomen, and I am just sorry that more people did not understand what it had to offer.
