My original post made the point that "Bush is a coward and a dictator."
Your tangential response was that if you were president you wouldn't go because, in your opinion, the 9/11 Commission is a circus.
And my response was that Bush HAD to go because he's too big a coward to say no.
Seems like there is a bigger disconnect between post 1 and 2 than between 2 and 3.
And the proof of the quality of the 9/11 Commission will be in the final report. We've reached a point where dishonest, uncivil discourse is the rule (thanks, Newt Gingrich) and anything of interest to the media degenerates into a circus. And this Administration is as responsible for it turning into a liars field day as anything (thanks, John Asscroft). That being the case, I think the Commission has done pretty well so far on the way they've managed. Even with that self-important idiot Bob Kerrey involved.
