I have a lot less time to read and post here b/c I'm at work now rather than in college. I think I mis-read most of what was posted on this. Yeah, I guess the film really does come down to whether you like Kaufman or not and I can see non-fans not liking the film whereas, in better films, I can still like them even if I don't like the characters. Overall, it was a pretty good film with a great performance, but I understand and probably accept your criticisms. Just wait, though. I'm sure there will be some films soon that we strongly disagree about...maybe "Magnolia."
