When I was in Vietnam, we referred to them as "Cheeseburgers" or "Instant LZ's".
I was an RTO and I can remember getting on the radio and saying, "This is mangy-ranger and I would like a cheeseburger to go at (insert 8 coordinate grid). Slow down on the tomatoes, stop on the onions and step on it".
A few minutes later, the top of a mountain and everything on it would simply go away.
