its not a ghost story per se, but it might be cool if everyone were playing that old halloween game where everyone closes their eyes and passes around the "guts" of a dead man while explaining how he died. you know peeled grapes for eyes, spaghetti for brains, etc. there should be a murder right then a few steps ahead of the game and the killer takes their place in line and quietly replaces the props with actual innards of his victim while everyone has their eyes closed for the story. it would break up pretty quick though. a fresh kill would be warm to the touch someone would get intrigued by the "realism" and peek.
alternatively, it could be cool if the killing took place earlier and the viscera are the right temperature that no one notices the switch until someone decides to be cute and eat one of the pieces.
this may have been done before. i'm not very creative and my memory is poor so if i'm ripping something off here someone tell me.
