Julia ROberts and John Malkovich are both boring in this. They have both made stronger dramatic choices in previous films. Here they are just boring. Julia tries out the Irish accent but sounds southern, and she doesn't seem to be attached to the character emotionally at all. I also blame the director. There must have been a more interesting way to illustrate this story in the film medium, than having Jeckyl and Reilly sit around, engaging in flat and uninteresting conversation.
