07/29/1998: SONG PARODY THAT NEEDS ASSIST!!!

Posted By: A_Song_Parody_Writer

After listening to Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" to get the tune to a song parody called "Kenny in the Wind" (a "tribute" to Kenny from "South Park"- go to http://www.concentric.net/~dcashman/humor/songs/kennywind. html to see the parody.) AND reading these messages since the time everyone was REALLY getting sick of Beast/SMC imposter posts, I've decided to write a song parody... but got writer's block after writting part of it.

The song parody I've made is called "Enemy in the Wind", and it's a song about the notorious spammer Public Enemy. This song is sort of like the most "polite" way to say good-bye to him. I've written a part of the song, now I need some suggestions for it.

BTW, I'm also a regular poster who goes by a different name. That'll leave you guessing on who I really am. (HINT: NO, I'm not Simon the Great, Mr. Wonderful, Richard B. Bernstein, Eamon J. Doyle, Beast, or Foreigner. HINT #2: I came here for the first time in April, yet became officially a regular poster when the password system came up.)

"ENEMY IN THE WIND"

Good-bye, Public Enemy,

Though we hardly cared for you at all...

You had the gall to screw the 'boards,

And nearly made it fall.

You crawled out of the wood-work,

And you whispered into their brains,

That Beast should be kicked off

Just because he seemed insane.

And it seemed to me, you lived your life like a pretty screwed-up kid,

Never knowing when to stop, even when the passwords set in.

And I would have liked to have known you-

HA! That's just a lie, kid,

Your intelligence had burned out..... long before... your ego ever did.

Anyone got suggestions?
