It's because it has to read so much data off of the CD instead of the hard drive. I have double the min. req. of ram (I have 256) and a 24X CD burner. It's because the size of the files for the levels are so huge.
Have you seen the game? Some of the graphics are amazing, especially the level in the jungle and the car chase leaving the hotel in Prague.
