Tom Cruise is a young hotshot Navy lawyer assigned to assist the ever hot Demi Moore in defending Nicholas Cage, a young Marine from Gitmo on charges of murdering a fellow Jarhead. As it turns out Cage was actually following the insane orders of Colonel Jake Gittes (Jack Nicholson) who was trying to rid the Marines of the last straight guys in the Corps.
Climactic scene in the courtroom comes when Cruise insists that Nicholson give him "the truth". "You want the truth? You want the truth? WELL, YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH? But you can fondle my package." Movie ends with Cage being dragged off to the brig to be anally violated by prison guards while Nicholson and Cruise wander off into the sunset in a lover's embrace. Oh yeah, and Demi Moore runs up to Cruise and says, "suck my dick, Lieutenant".
