How about Mara Wilson against the girl in "Fire Starter"? At first they would be ruthless enemies, and then Godzilla would appear, and they'd have to join their powers and fight the beast off, creating an emotional mix between Barney and Power Rangers. Then Rambo would come in and shoot them both.
