Someone please tell me that corporal punishment will soon be outlawed in all public schools. I attend a southern high school and am going into my senior year. It should be something that I look forward to but instead I dread going back. Last year I was paddled for a minor infraction (tardiness) and because it was on the game day (football)I had my cheerleading skirt on and when I was paddled I had my cheerleading skirt lifted up because it "got in the way". I would like to know other peoples feelings on this issue.
