As most 'good' web designers will tell you, the best time to do nothing is at work when you're plugged into a highspeed line.
My esteemed/steamy co-workers and I have pronounced 2 scary possibilities for the Matrix Rev
1) Neo is still plugged in the matrix, and the real world is just another part of the matrix. He never unplugged, he's been dreaming this the whole time. A la 13th floor, which pulled it off in one movie, with 4 actors and less than 2mil.
2) Neo and everyone else in the real world are in another Matrix on top of the first one, in which all people are programs who have assimumlated human behavior and seem to think they are human. Big Brother needed a place for these 'humanistic programs' to run and play. a la Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep [Blade Runner]
Both are cop outs, and will drive me into a blinding rage making me eat turkey corndogs and watch American Idol.
