Strangely enough, I actually cared when Trinity got killed. When Elektra (Jennifer Garner), the leather clad tramp of "Daredevil" got killed, I couldn't have cared less (granted the character's origins were screwed in the film beyond repair). I could have tolerated the death/destruction of Neo (I half expected him to go out like that) but they really didn't have to kill Trinity (unless Carrie-Anne Moss asked to be written out so she could spend more time with her family or something).
Yeah, the final fight between Neo and Smith was poorly done. Too many climatic "final blows" thrown in there. And yes, they really could have dropped the rave scene and they could have made Locke a little less of a jerk. And they didn't have to explain the Oracle's new look (they never bothered explaining why Batman or James Bond look different from one sequel to the next, after all)
What did you think of Link, the man who replaced Tank (who apparently died off screen to cover up the fact that they had problems with that actor)?
