it was the first new "Star Wars" movie in over 15 years. Plus, there was the whole buildup based on the special editions re-released in theaters. If Reloaded & Revolutions were just one movie & were as poorly received as "Revolutions," it would still have made over $250 million. If the Wachowskis waited a few more years, I bet that it would have been over $300 million. Of course, the R rating may have prevented this.
