Are you talking about the cool, old version? I saw a recent remake of this on Bravo a few months ago and I wound up screaming at the tv in typical English-nerd fashion. For some reason they gave the professor a comely daughter who, of course, was a source of friction between Ned and Nemo. Totally fucked up the story and the character of Capt. Nemo. They sucked out all the adventure and made it another tired love triangle flick. I kept yelling "Who's the woman?!" and "There's no woman!!"
And it was a Saturday night. Pretty sad.
