10/14/01: "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea"

...that one always fascinated me, as a kid..

So did "Journey to the Center of the Earth"... ("It's a duck!")

Actually, anything Jules Verne related, really, i'd classify as a neat movie for kids..Good way to get them to be sophisticated (like me :)

I'd also go with alot of MH's pics ("Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and "The Neverending Story" were 2 that i watched constantly, as a kid)..I'd also include "E.T."..

"The Goonies" is one i'd recommend for kids who are a bit older, but it's definitely a well-loved one from my past :)

There's also "Star Wars", of course..

And the classic "Tron". (Did anyone catch the light cycle reference on "Family Guy"?)

And what kind of list would this be without mention of the likes of "Labyrinth", "The Dark Crystal" (anything that Jim Henson had his hand in) and "The Last Starfighter"?
