1) Were you a bully, nerdboy, loser, or invisible other in high school?

Invisible other. I was never picked on or bullied, but I wasn't particularly popular either.

2) Do you think that kids can be so mean as to justify going Columbine? Any sympathy for the picked on nerds that strike back?

No - lots of people get picked on, not everyone slaughters their classmates. I would cheer on a nerd striking back in other ways, though.

3) Did you love going to high school and the whole popularity contests, school spirit, having your voice crack, growing hair in strange places, and popping zits? Or did you cut classes and are just happy to have made it out of that hell hole alive and with some shred of sanity?

I didn't particularly like high school. Lots of inner turmoil and confusion for me. I had fun my senior year, though - made some decent friends, cut a lot of classes. I was happy when I finally graduated with lots of college scholarships. College was where I had the REAL fun. :)

4) So do you now understand why you had to learn Algerbra, history, and industrial arts? Aren't you using it everyday?

Um, no.

5) Name the best things about going to high school (significant events like losing your virginity etc.).

High school's kinda like a big blur for me. I did a lot of volunteer work at a community theatre - those are some good memories.

I fell in love for the first time my senior year. It was amazing, and everything else pales in comparison. She's my best friend now, although we broke up a few years ago.

6) Any teachers/administators that you would have loved to see keel over and die?

Mr. Rozell. I don't remember what his official title was, but he caught DMagic and I skipping class once. I'm sure there were other people I hated, but I really can't remember. High school wasn't a very memorable time for me.

7) Ever have a crush on a teacher and/or an affair that you now feel safe in revealing?

Nope.

8) Did you feel the need to act like a moron or did you take pride in being the first nerd to raise your hand to answer the tough questions?

Although I didn't ever like to show off ("OOoh, ooh! Pick me! Pick me!"), I WAS the kind of kid that everyone wanted to cheat off of. YES, I admit it, *I* was the one that ruined the curve for everyone else! No one hated me, though - I wasn't obnoxious. I can't remember ever being picked on or made fun of.

9) Do anything that you regret in high school (like beat the crap out of kids or moon the janitor)?

No, I didn't make those mistakes until much later.

10) Have you gone to any reunions or do you plan to or are you just going to forget that high school ever happened until you can track down the people you hated and gut them like fish?

I'd like to go to my reunion, although I don't think many people would remember me.

TCP :)
