HA! Still, it wasn't all bad.
1) Were you a bully, nerdboy, loser, or invisible other in high school?
Somewhere between a nerd and a brain. People either made fun of me or exploited me. People asked me to proofread their English papers before they turned them in.
2) Do you think that kids can be so mean as to justify going Columbine? Any sympathy for the picked on nerds that strike back?
Are you kidding?! There is a food chain in high school, just as there is in the real world. It just seems more intense when you're young and stupid. If they couldn't deal with it, tough. Which religion says that "Existence is suffering?"
) Did you love going to high school and the whole popularity contests, school spirit, having your voice crack, growing hair in strange places, and popping zits? Or did you cut classes and are just happy to have made it out of that hell hole alive and with some shred of sanity?
None of the above. I was largely untouched by the social aspect of high school, though I did take place in a lot of academic stuff (NHS, etc.)
4) So do you now understand why you had to learn Algerbra, history, and industrial arts? Aren't you using it everyday?
Never in a million years, yup, and they wouldn't let my uncoordinated ass near a drill press!
5) Name the best things about going to high school (significant events like losing your virginity etc.).
The best day of my high school career was when I got my driver's license and didn't have to ride the cheese wagon anymore.
6) Any teachers/administators that you would have loved to see keel over and die?
Not exactly high school, but my 5th grade teacher Mr. Blosser was a four star fuck-and-a-half.
7) Ever have a crush on a teacher and/or an affair that you now feel safe in revealing?
Strangely, I desired him for it.
8) Did you feel the need to act like a moron or did you take pride in being the first nerd to raise your hand to answer the tough questions?
Nah. I took a perverse pride in it. Making other people look stupid was my only defense. But it had to be well- planned. My snappy comebacks tended to be "I'm ugly?! Well, so's my mother!"
9) Do anything that you regret in high school (like beat the crap out of kids or moon the janitor)?
I didn't go to the prom with the first guy that asked me. He was an even bigger geek than I was and I lied and said I already had a date. Then about a week later I accepted when my best (male) friend asked me to go.
10) Have you gone to any reunions or do you plan to or are you just going to forget that high school ever happened until you can track down the people you hated and gut them like fish?
Ironically, I was voted Most Likely to Succeed AND senior class President, so I was in charge of planning the 5 year reunion. It was considered a great success because the former captain of the fuhball team took time away from the demanding and exciting field of used car sales to attend.
