You've got me curious; what's The Thief and the Cobbler about.
PS-the cartoons on TV kind of suck now too. From what I saw,
Silver Surfer sucks. They try to make it smart, but it just ends up being stupid.
X Men took a dive
Spider Man was Ok, but nothing special. The only good thing about it was that it stayed "OK" throughout it's whole life. Something few American cartoons can say.
Super Man's not that great either. Some episodes are pretty good, but alot of the others are pretty corny.
Don't even get me started on the new Batman episodes
The Incredible Hulk was never amazing either, but it ended up taking a big dive when they tried to make she hulk a part of the show.
Gargoyles was up there with Batman, one of the best things on TV. But it had many flaws. Many episodes seemed rushed. The plots didn't really appeal to many until they got hooked(I used to thing the show was just okay until I saw City of Stone, and then even after this, atleast one out of every four episodes was kind of bad). Some of the charactors, such as puck, were just stupid. The dialogue would slide from occasion. At the end of the shows life(last episode), they decided to let the humans know about the Gargoyles, and screwed up Goliath and Elisa's relationship(I liked the forbidden fruit idea much better). The Gargoyles' world ended up being so different from our world, that it lost that air of believablity about it. In other words: it got corny. I'm not even going to discuss the continued Goliath Chronicles that were on ABC Saturday mornings.
So did I miss anything. What do you fellow Crankylanders think.
