<Coaster replies> As I said, it’s solvent and you didn’t refute that. It’s Medicare that could use the help right now and Bush isn’t addressing that. Doesn’t it piss you off that Bush squandered the surplus and plunged our country into a huge record-breaking national debt? Perhaps if Bush’s policies, including his bullshit war for oil, hadn’t burdened our country with such a paralyzing debt, we might be able to responsibly finance the up front two-trillion dollar charge that it will take to begin to privatize social security.

X-uker: Kerry lost..because I dont know. Mostly because he's a weenie. The country wasn't that bad off, not that great off but not that bad off, and well, probably other factors. Bush is tougher than Kerry because he supported the war and Kerry wanted to be a girlie pacifist about it, for example. You cant change that fact. Also, I still maintain George W simply is better looking on TV. ...

<Coaster replies> Kerry should have gone on the attack. He did a better job than Gore at this, but it wasn’t good enough. In the end, he was too much of a weenie. There were no differences in how Kerry or Bush would have pursued the war in Iraq in the short run. In the long run, Kerry said he would build a broad-base coalition to help with the peace. This is something Bush is clearly incapable of doing and thus our boys continue to die. And Bush being better looking? Hell, he’s a goddamned chimp.
