Yes, I enjoyed Mulan...I prayed that there was nowhere but up for Disney after such movies as the Hunchback...I still haven't mustered the courage to attempt Hercules...
Mulan was beautifully illustrated (all these heroines have such great, controllable hair!), the story had major potential, and Eddie Murphy was hilarious!! There were, however, a few flaws. It was WAY too short, I felt as if I had just settled into my theatre seat and the closing credits were rolling! The boot camp must have been deadly since they started with dozens of soldier wannabes and ended up with only a handful as they crossed the mountains! Gimme a break! Also, with a story based on war, I wish I could've witnessed a cool battle scene where the skills Mulan had gained were put to good use, but this is Disney...*sigh*
