02/11/1999: This one goes out to THE_ANIMAL and Oort.

<dd>First of all, Oort, you are missing the bigger picture. What, you ask, is the bigger picture? Disney is a massive corporate tumor, dripping with fetid, stinking commericialism. Has been for some time. In fact, it is my understanding that Micheal Eisner, as a side clause to his contract with the devil, had Mr. Walt Disney raised from the dead, and he now makes coffee and pushes a pastry cart around the halls of Disney's corporate office. Freaky. <dd>Not to say that what you said about Bill Gates wasn't true, of course. <dd>Now then...ANIMAL....ANIMAL, ANIMAL, ANIMAL. Praise be to the easily amused with short attention spans! The wretched filth that has been spewed forth from the rotting maw of Disney for the past, oh, seven years or more is nothing less than REPUGNANT! Unwatchable mush, these movies actually have less artist merit than the last three (or is it four?) Batman movies. Besides, in many ways, Animae (or Japanese Animation to the layman) is FAR superior to most American animation. How you can say that it is dry is beyond me. True, some of the humor used is a little corny by American standards, but with television shows like Beavis and Butthead and South Park, with their childish, sophmoric toliet humor, how can we compalin about ANYTHING? <dd>Which is not to say that I don't enjoy those shows, of course.
