When Ashlee Simpson had a little scirmish with her musical performance, and everyone said she had been caught lipsincing, in the following interview she claimed it was just a backing track. Backing Track? It's something she claimed singers sometimes use incase they miss a word or hit a bad note it 'backs' them up.
Yeah, in other words, you suck at singing and need a tape of yourself in the background because inevitably you will miss a word or hit a bad note. So either she was lipsincing and she sucks, or she was singing with a backing track because she sucks.
Backing track. I was under the impression that performers usually had a band and that was it. Would Celine Dion use a backing track? Did Michael Jackson ever use one? I don't think so.
