Ah, yes, "The Negotiator", another film that proves that the only way to prove oneself innocent in the United States is to go on a brutal, lawless rampage. "Well, Danny, you beat that parking ticket." Regardless of the fact that Samuel L. Jackson's character is not a killer, he has undeniably a violent terrorist and a general threat to society. Reminds me of another movie, "Incognito". A man is accused of stealing a priceless painting, actually a fakery. To prove his innocence, he shoots a man, beats up a police officer, steals a passport and a car, kills another man, and at the end of the day, thanks to the testimony of a single eyewitness, gets a formal apology from Britain's PM and is sent packing back to the States.
So remember, folks, if you're wrongly accused of a crime, you do whatever you can to get off! Because at the end of the day, if you're found innocent, it doesn't matter how many lives you've destroyed or how many other crimes you committed to illegally gather that critical evidence. You're innocent! That's all there is to it!
