Although I guess they must have different rules for animated movies. As far as I can tell, one director directs the voice talent and the other director directs the animation units, so even though that's "dividing responsibilities," I guess that's allowed in that case. Which might explain why Katia Lund was not nominated for Best Director. But what would have happened with the "American Splendor" duo? They really did seem to be a "team." Maybe they got a waiver...
