Although in some ways I'm an exception, I'm a stereotype in some ways, too!
I have always, always hated dresses - ever since I was a little girl. I used to cry and scream when my mother tried to put them on me.
Growing up, I was always told by my parents to "be more feminine." It was always a source of distress for me. I didn't know HOW to be more feminine! But I did know that dresses and make-up and other "girly" things made me uncomfortable from a very early age.
I hate make-up and only wear it occasionally.
I used to play tackle football with my brothers - also baseball, soccer, basketball, and street hockey. I was also a little skater girl (that's skateboarding, by the way).
I wear Doc Martens.
Anything else? I'm thinking, I'm thinking...

On the opposite end, I couldn't play a sport now to save my life.
I love art and theater and poetry - typically gay MALE things.
I have "girly" mannerisms, like lifting my pinky in the air when I drink tea.
I have long hair.

I guess I'm kind of in the middle.
