the film made from the Steinbeck novel with Gary Sinese and John Malkovich? It was directed by Sinese, and I taped it the other night on Bravo. I'm betting its really good. Sinese directed, and the novel is really good. Also, has anyone else read "The Pearl" by Steinbeck? I think that, in every one of Steinbeck's novels, there is an impending sense of doom that makes you feel nervous the whole time you read it. Anyway, i highly recommend "The Pearl. It's pretty short and very good.
