I thought that the under-budget bonus was part of every director's contract - it's not always the director's fault if a film goes over, but it's certainly their doing if it comes under.
So, when Steve Spielberg brought Raiders of the Lost Ark in $10 Mil under, was he laughing or what? Or was that just to make up for 1941?
