The few intelligent posters at Crankys have better things to do than wait up for the new reviews every Friday. Anyway, the first-post threads stay at the bottom of the page.
I thought that the under-budget bonus was part of every director's contract - it's not always the director's fault if a film goes over, but it's certainly their doing if it comes under.
So, when Steve Spielberg brought Raiders of the Lost Ark in $10 Mil under, was he laughing or what? Or was that just to make up for 1941?
