Hi Faelan
From what I can remember, WA had a purge/enquiry/royal commission around the time WA inc fell in a heap. SA has had a couple, NSW has had a couple, including one right now. ACT lost a few Feds as a result of the NSW one and the murder of a senior policeman in ACT a few years ago put the wash through a few more of them. QLD has had at least one after Joh fell from grace (incidentally Mal Colsten reminds me of Russ Hinze).
I can't remember when Victoria, or Tasmania, or NT ever had one so that is why I say it is their turn. Of course some of the rest of them could probably do with another one.
Incidentally, the NSW enquiry has recommended that prescription Heroin be trialed and their Premier has agreed. ACT was going to do one of these but couldn't get NSW agreement. Some of the NSW councils around ACT are still dead against it. Silly really, prescription heroin cut burglary rates in Switzerland by a staggering 40%.
But there is a lot of money invested in keeping things the same.
