10/26/1998: Henry, I have the most fabulous news!

Posted By: Cecily

Vladimir has agreed to take me on as his speechwriter and spokesperson! Is that not grand? He says that as long as it appears that I shall not give him a moment's rest, he might as well give me a job. What do you mean, how much does it pay? Why do you insist on focusing on such trivial matters as a salary in the face of such a great struggle? And I am not talking about your efforts to obtain a wardrobe. Well, of course Vladimir has the good of the proletarian class in his mind at all times. However, that does not mean he must distract his attention by such a menial thing as a salary.

What do you think sounds better? "Liberals support the war and the interests of the bourgeoisie!" or "The bourgeoisie support the war and the interests of the liberals!" Hmmm.

"Peace, Land, and Tea Cakes!". No, that is not quite it. "Peace, Bread, and Real Estate!" Henry, if you continue to make such comments, I shall be forced to add to the collection of bumps on your forehead.
