First, director Oliver Stone forces three hours of Jack down our throats in the form of his JFK assassination theories. With his most recent effort, we all have to swallow three hours of Dick --Dick Nixon that is.

Boredom aside, what exactly are Nixon's former cronies all hot and bothered about? Do they think that poor Richard didn't get good treatment from Oliver? As co-conspirators with the only president ever forced to resign, what exactly do they expect? Nixon disgraced the country, disgraced himself and flushed respect for the executive branch of the government right down the toilet. Are these people shocked that Anthony Hopkins makes Dick out to be a weasel who didn't get much sunlight?

If you ask me, Oliver Stone is the perfect director to do a biography of Nixon. On one hand you have the quintessential liberal paranoid and on the other you have the quintessential conservative paranoid. Frankly, they deserve each other.
