Wow! From antagonism to agreement. It is amazing how badly libertarians (small "l") get along with each other considering their theoretical common ground.
The state of the Libertarian party reflects that, I think. What a shambles.
People like William Weld and Christine Todd Whitman are the future of libertarianism -- except libertarians don't show up at the Republican primary.
Paul Tsongas hasn't exactly awakened a renewed spirit of economic freedom in the Democratic party, either.
I put my faith in the NFIB for business owners and the CATO institute for the rest of us. Ironically, both are lobbying organizations. Only political parties could make lobbying organizations actually look good. (Lawyers, in turn, could make even political parties look good. Heh heh.)
Since I started an off-topic thread that has taken up an awful lot of bandwidth here, I am willing to let this topic elegantly conclude at this point. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for your participation.
