Some number of years ago, I read in one of my books on the death of JFK, that Jack 'Rubenstein' had been called before the House Committee On Unamerican Activities - 'circa 1950... Nixon, as a young congressman, then supposedly told the committee that Mr Rubenstein was doing intelligence work for himself, Nixon. Years later we meet Jack again as Mr Ruby. Did I read this correctly or am I fusing neurons? Can anyone corroborate this from a reputable reference? Thanks much...
