and your biggest concern is a throw-away line about a "military-style haircut"? It's not like this is going to cause a backlash against military people in the way that Columbine caused a backlash against high school non-conformist types. Besides, there are real issues about returning soldiers having difficulty readjusting to civilian life - granted, the vast majority of them aren't killers, but the issues can't just be swept away by empty "support the troops" rhetoric...
