Having read most of Cormac McCarthy's books, I enjoyed No Country for Old Men but then I read the Time article. For brevity's sake, I will simply say this self important old fart needs a dirt nap. He has got to be one of the most self absorbed, full of himself people I have ever read about. Everyone should read this article just to get this guy's take on how smart he is and how he can only bring himself to hang out with scientists. Apparently, they are the only humans capable of communicating and understanding him. Oh but he doesn't mind cashing the paychecks for the books and movies. I guess that isn't beneath him.
