I'm against excessive levels of pollution, because it is a violation of property rights. If a corporation is polluting your private property, then I favor government action to stop the pollution. Private ownership of property is the best way to protect the environment, as is obvious to anyone who owns a home - just look at how much time and effort people put into taking care of their own property. Also, if you look at statistics from different countries form all over the world, you will see that, in general, wealthier countries have better environments. This shouldn't come as a surpirse. Just as richer countries have better access to food, clothing, medical care, and housing, they also have better access to clean air, clean water, etc. The earth may or may not get warmer over the next century, but, regarding the Kyoto Treaty, the "cure" is far worse than the "disease." I guess you can't give any kind of a rational argument to my posts, so you feel the need to wage personal attacks on me.
